Testimonials
'In 2007, we enlisted The Burnett Group (TBG) to build a home that my wife’s brother, an architect, designed. Initially, we were impressed with Greg’s (the owner) forthrightness and no nonsense approach to the process; with Greg what you see is what you get—literally. There is no hidden agenda, and what he says he and his crew will do, they do.
For instance, we were told the home would take 6 months to be built, and it was completed on time as promised. I understand these kind of promises are common in the construction business but are usually unfulfilled. Contrarily, when the Burnett Group says that something will happen on a certain day at a specific time, it happens. And as promised, we moved into our home precisely when Greg said we would be able to. Greg holds his workers to a high standard of excellence, fulfills his promises, and meets his commitments.
With regards to money, Tricia is the group’s financial guru. We always knew exactly what was being spent and on what. Her financial spreadsheet is simple, straightforward and designed so that anyone can comprehend where his/ her money is going. We feel completely comfortable with Tricia and unquestionably trust her. Tricia was the one who calmly and sagaciously walked us through our frustrations with the incomprehensible maze created by the loan company. If we didn’t understand what the seemingly incompetent loan company employees were telling us from one day to the next, Tricia helped us comprehend what the loan company wanted and eased our minds. She, like Greg and Jorge, is very approachable, trustworthy, and hard-working.
Jorge Rodriguez, the site manager, with whom we had the most contact, has selected a crew of hard working perfectionists, like himself. I knew nothing about construction before our home was built. But in the process of watching our home go through the various stages of construction, I began to look at the way in which other homes were built. What I realized, and this was confirmed by my brother-in-law who designed the home and works in construction, is that our home was being meticulously pieced together with attention to the minutest details. In comparison to the newly constructed track houses in the suburbs of Riverside and San Bernardino counties, the Burnett Group built us a far superior home. Everyone my wife and I talked to who had purchased a new track house or had had a house built complained of problems with the workers, with faulty construction, or with the use of inferior products used to make the house. With the Burnett Group, all the kinks are worked out before they hand you the keys to your new home. Sincerely, Jorge and his crew are the finest and hardest working crew that any new home owner could wish to have constructing their new home; these men take pride in their work and put their souls into what they do. They built our home with the mindset that it was theirs. In other words, we felt supremely confident that we were being dealt with fairly, being taken care of, and were receiving a home built by competent, capable, and attentive men who love what they do. These men build “homes” not “houses.” Theirs is truly a labor of love.
We feel extremely fortunate to have found the Burnett Group. Our home is beautiful, well-built, and comfortable. It was built by artists who take pride in their work, and approach the creation of each new home as if they are producing their masterpiece. Like I said earlier, the Burnett Group does not build “houses;” they build “homes” for people.'

'Hi Tricia,
I just wanted all the folks at TBG to know how satisfied I am with the garage you recently completed for me. The workmanship is absolutely top-drawer and the job was completed on time and under budget, a rarity in today's world! Your people are great to work with and took the time to understand what was important to me in the finished product, and I never felt like I was getting in the way. TBG was the only contractor I talked to that was willing to handle the entire job, including getting the permits and design changes. That was a real load off my mind, I tell you what. Thanks again for a job well done! All for now, Doug'
